At the Nisonger Center, Jillian manages the Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC) program, promoting lifelong learning, social connections, and community inclusion for adults with IDD. Founded at Nisonger Center in 2002, NCBC has become the preeminent program of its kind, with over 300 clubs worldwide. In Franklin County, OH, Jillian manages 14 book clubs with over 80 members and 30 volunteers who meet weekly to take turns reading and discussing a book of their choosing. Since 2004, Jillian has co-developed and managed other innovative programs, including Young Adult Transition Corps (an AmeriCorps program), Jot It Down, Finding Me, Relate to Me, and Literacy IRL.
