NCBC - Florida Developmental Disabilities Council contract

Project Description:

The Florida DD Council (FDDC) and The OSU Nisonger Center have partnered to bring the Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC) to Florida. FDDC has granted two (2) non-profit agencies in Florida approx. $40,000 each to operate an NCBC program locally. The Nisonger Center will be paid $17,112 in order to travel to Florida for two training workshops for the project grantees, as well as a presentation to FDDC. In addition, NCBC staff will provide ongoing and extensive technical assistance to the selected local sites to ensure appropriate project implementation. Lastly, evaluation data will be collected and analyzed to gauge program effectiveness.
