Training Symposia
The Training Symposium is an event held annually during AUCD's Annual Meeting and Conference. Originally an activity of the National Training Directors Council, the Symposium planning committee has expanded to include representation from each of AUCD's Councils. Below you will find a history of past Training Symposia as well as documents that relate to the event currently being planned.

AIR-P Research Day at Autism CARES Meeting 2024: Translating Research to Community Impact

The Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P) will be hosting its 7th semi-annual Research Day on July 22, 2024, in conjunction with the 2024 Autism CARES Meeting. This virtual event is an opportunity to highlight research related to the physical health and overall well-being of autistic individuals. The 2024 theme is "Translating Research to Community Impact" and will feature poster presentations from across the nation. This virtual event is open to all.

They will provide prompts for you to reflect on the importance of your LEND, UCEDD, DBP or IDDRC traineeship; share practical tips for how to stay connected with the AUCD network no matter what your next steps are; and, most importantly, how you can use what you've learned over the past year to advance your professional goals.
