Danielle  Webber, MSW

Danielle Webber, MSW, is a Public Health Program Manager at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). Through a cooperative agreement with the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), she manages and provides technical assistance to the "Learn the Signs. Act Early." Program, its 54 state and territorial Ambassadors, and the Act Early Network with the goal of increasing developmental monitoring and screening of young children, and improve early identification of developmental disabilities and delays, including Autism. Danielle also supports AUCD's other public health programs that aim to strengthen the capacity to carry out activities in the areas of developmental disabilities and health promotion for people living with a disability. Additional health promotion and technical assistance responsibilities include creating accessible health education information, program evaluation, information dissemination, and supporting coalitions and training opportunities. Danielle has been involved with the AUCD, its network centers, and sister organizations for over ten years. She received her MSW in 2009 from the University of Connecticut with an emphasis on policy practice and administration.
