Job Description

Program Manager (Job Opening 460424) - Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at the

Nisonger Center; leads in the planning, implementation, and evaluate of ECE; identifies scope of program, including goals and expected deliverables;

develops and sets strategic objectives and priorities based on goals; prepares and maintains reports, statistics, and presentations related to the

work of the ECE; establishes, implements, and evaluates policies, programs and processes; initiates and facilitates program measurements including needs

and outcome assessments; reviews and updates program curricula; investigates and resolves problems;

provides instructional coaching regarding evidence-based classroom and home visiting practices for all staff;

develops and conducts training for staff and explores additional areas of training necessary; provides feedback regarding lesson plans and data collection;

conducts classroom observation and evaluations; oversees enrollment and exiting of children; provides knowledge, management, and interpretation of

regulations and ensures compliance with DOE licensing requirements, ECE policies and procedures, early intervention regulations,

Franklin County and Help Me Grow agencies; completes and submits reports as required by agencies; supervises and evaluates ECE staff; manages

all personnel matters and performance reviews; oversees and manages student practicum program; provides guidance and support for students/trainees,

faculty and staff practicum participants; evaluates and authorizes payments for materials, facilities, staff and instructional facility; plans and develops

annual budget in collaboration with the Nisonger Center Department Administrator; assists Nisonger Center ECE Program Director

with budget and expenditure reporting, and writing of yearly contract and reports to FCBDD for program support.

Education and Experience

Master's degree in a relevant field; appropriate and active licensure or certificate in the education of handicapped pre-kindergarten children required;

experience in program planning and administration required; Resident Educator license preferred.  Requires successful completion of a background check;

qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
