Anticipated Vacancy - Fall semester 2017 Final appointment is subject to available funding -Applicants must be qualified to be an Associate Professor Faculty member in Special Education. -Position is open until filled, but a review of applications will being on February 15, 2017 -The position is a nine-month academic faculty position with the possibility of additional summer salary. -Tenure at Rhode Island College is available to those with appropriate credentials. -The doctoral degree is required for appointment and must be completed prior to the beginning of service. -Candidates are required to submit a two-page written summary statement of teaching, scholarship and research experiences, and future activities and interests. (use the Other Document 1 button) -Per the AFT contract, the salary range for rank of Associate Professor for 2017-2018 is $61,370 - $117,178. -Candidates are required to provide an unofficial transcript. Transcript should be of highest degree earned.
