Project Administrator, Early Intervention - University of Nevada, Reno

The
Project Administrator, Early Intervention, is responsible for consultation and
training with early childhood programs under screening, eligibility, and
programmatic assessment, intervention, evaluation, supports, and program
planning to offer individualized services to children birth to age eight. The
position identifies, develops, submits, and administers externally funded
projects that address developmental services, instruction, dissemination and
research for children birth to eight and their families. This position is
funded through the Nevada University Center for Excellence in Developmental
Disabilities (UCED) and other externally funded grants or contracts that may
support the skills of this position, such as Early Head Start, Nevada Early
Intervention Services, early intervention personnel preparation grants, etc.
The position reports to the Director, REPC/NV UCED in the College of Education
(COE) at the University
of Nevada, Reno (UNR).
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution with emphasis in early intervention, early childhood special education or other related disability field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work) that relates to young children; AND
Four years of experience in early intervention applied settings, ie, early intervention programs or agencies, interventionist, family support.
