Michael P. Steinbruck, MA, Program Administrator at The Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities (NJ UCEDD), was recently elected Vice-Chair of The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices. He has served on the board since 2006.

The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices is an international organization which "envisions a world where all people have positive control over the lives they have chosen for themselves. Efforts focus on people who have lost or may lose positive control because of society's response to the presence of disability." The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices develops and disseminates training materials, encourages and shares learning about how to best support people to get the lives they want, and establishes criteria and supports trainers and organizations in implementation.
