On the first Monday of October, maternal and child health professionals across America remind us that nothing is more important the health of our children. On this 83rd annual celebration of Child Health Day, HRSA reminds you of maternal and child health programs that help children lead healthy lives everyday.
This year's theme is Helping Children Lead Healthy Lives. A HRSA website was created to feature important resources that assist families in finding health care services. Resources featured on the website include the 311 Prenatal Hotline, Insure Kids Now, Family-to-Family Health Information Centers, Text 4 Baby, Find a Health Center Locator and the Maternal and Child Health Program.
On National Child Health Day, we will feature the services within MCHB and HRSA that serve the health and well-being of children. It is our hope that we can reach thousands of families to assist them in finding vital health care services.
