WID and American Red Cross Partner to Provide Innovative Training to Better Assist People With Disabilities

October 10, 2007; Press Release: The World Institute on Disability and the American Red Cross announced the creation of an innovative national training, awareness and action program to help Red Cross staff and volunteers better serve people with disabilities during disasters. The specialized training program will be funded through a grant from the Verizon Foundation.
