The Partnerships in Employment project just released a guide to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in their communities. The guide is aimed at family members of people with IDD. Written by the ICI's Jean Winsor, the guide touches on topics such as common goals for people with IDD around employment and community participation. It will help families and individuals better understand the different types of day and employment services available.
Partnerships in Employment is run by the ICI in partnership with the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services and funded by the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
