The Sonoran UCEDD Career Pathways to Arizona's Future project is funded by the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Rehabilitation Services Administration. This four-year project is focused on addressing the high unemployment rates for Arizona transition aged youth with disabilities., This will be done through the delivery of effective Pre-Employment Transition Services. The project, implemented in collaboration with vocational rehabilitation, schools, and adult service providers across the state, will respond to this need using a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach. Project activities will include, determining, developing, demonstrating and/or providing: a systematic process for assessing local community needs innovative work-based learning opportunities strategies that address the unique needs of nontraditional youth with disabilities resources, training, and technical assistance to non-participating schools a toolkit with a Pre-ETS implementation manual and other resources |
