Research: | Dr. Friedman has been the Director of the Division of Adolescent Medicinesince 1997, having joined the service here in 1985. He actively participates in the recruitment and education of Pediatrics residents and medical students at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, as well. His clinical experience and research interests in adolescent health have lead to grant funding for numerous programs related to prevention of HIV infection and other sexually transmitted processes, general health promotion for youth, and care of young people with chronic diseases. -
