| Research: | 1. Community-based participatory research: I have recently begun work in community-based research focusing on pediatric asthma. This incorporates multiple interests of mine: working with Spanish-speaking populations, including the incorporation of cultural competency in research; and addressing issues of health literacy.
2. I am also interested in research focused on adherence with recommendations. This incorporates both provider adherence (such as with clinical guidelines) and patient adherence with medical recommendations. These issues cross content areas and can apply to asthma, mental health, vaccine research, and other areas. | ||||||||||||||||||||
