Vita/Bio
Having had exposure to people with disabilities in my family and community at an early age, I pursued a career path that allowed me to support children with disabilities and their families. After completing my undergraduate degree in OT at Quinnipiac College in 1988, I met Dr. Bruder and was able to participate in a one year graduate course in early intervention. That course was expanded into a masters program in Early Intervention at New York Medical College, where I graduated in 1993. I have had the pleasure of providing OT services to children from birth through 21 in hospital-based, school-based, and home-based programs for the past 30 years. Providing inservice training has been one aspect of each of my roles that I have always particularly enjoyed. Therefore, the CT LEND program has been a wonderful fit for me presently.
