Research: Dr. Harolyn Belcher is jointly appointed in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and School of Public Health. Dr. Belcher's clinical and research areas of interest in the areas of prevention and treatment of intrauterine alcohol and drug exposure and child maltreatment and trauma exposure. Dr. Belcher is the Project Director of three CDC public health education programs that focus on increasing diversity among public health professionals and promoting health equity. The MCHC/RISE-UP is a national consortium of UCEDD/LEND programs including the Kennedy Krieger Institute, USD, and [3] USC-LA.The Ferguson Fellowship enrolls graduate and professional students. The PLLUSS Program provides public health research experiences for undergraduates interested in pursuing graduate degrees in public health. Dr. Belcher is co-PI of an NIH grant to examine 2 EBTs for parents of preschoolers.
