Center:
Fiscal Year:
2026
Contact Information:
Project Description:
During the first three years of a child's life, critical development occurs in the areas of movement, communication, sensory exploration, social interaction, and bonding. For a child with complex and intensive needs, specialized supports can be critical in nurturing developmental progress. The Early Intervention Project of Vermont helps children access home and community environments, access additional resources and/or adaptive equipment, develop and/or adapt materials that meet a child's developmental needs, learn useful strategies and interventions, identify risk factors that may point to the need for additional referrals.
