Project Description:
The Center for Leadership in Disability is a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and is part of Association on University Centers of Disability. Many of our projects are partially supported the CLD as they dovetail with mission of AUCD. The UCEDD grant enables the center to design and create new programs that support the needs and support among various disability communities across the state of Georgia. The UCEDD grant allows the center to collaborate with GA organizations that specialize in fieldwork related to the disability community and the like. The CLD uses UCEDD funding to facilitate closing the gaps in community outreach, research, evaluation, and informing state and national level policies on issues important people with disabilities and their family member.
