Project Description:
The interdisciplinary clinic model utilized at the CIDD has successfully streamlined these services by bringing together multiple professionals from different disciplines to work together in one clinic dedicated to individuals with a specific neurodevelopmental disorder. By utilizing this model, families receive "one-stop shopping" with regards to the individual needs of their family member. Team members consult with family members as well as one another around the referral concerns and develop intervention options based on the expertise of all involved. This foundation grant supports a clinic specializing in AS at the CIDD based on this successful model.
