Project Description:
Summary:
(1) Smart Home Discovery Place: A built environment resembling a one bedroom apartment, showcasing technology to help individuals with developmental disabilities, their family members, and professionals better understand how technology can help someone live with greater independence.
(A) Tours are conducted and the technology is updated regularly.
(B) Virtual Training (in development) uses a virtual explorable environment to educate learners about technology solutions that might help someone do more on their own and need less help from others.
