Project Description:

There is a need to increase accessibility and quality of the services receive by person with Developmental Disabilities and their families in Puerto Rico. The goal of this project is to increase that access and quality of services through training and technical assistance in topics relate to Developmental Disabilities, leadership, auto determination for consumers, families, professionals and the community in general, and to develop exemplary models of service through Technical Assistance to demonstrate these better practices to families, consumers, professionals, community, special projects staff and individuals and groups that should ask for it. As expected benefit there should be a boost in the quality, and a higher accessibility of services for the persons with disabilities and their families.
