Project Description:
CLD has collaborated with the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Wireless Technologies at Georgia Tech in order to understand uses for wireless technology to increase community accessibility for individuals with disabilities. CLD personnel have conducted multiple focus groups with individuals with disabilities, family members, educators, and employment specialists on the potential uses of and interest in technologies. The team has recently distributed a national survey to gather more information on this topic.
