Project Description:
The Center on Disability and Community Inclusion (CDCI) has been providing training and technical assistance through the Supported Employment Project for over 25 years. CDCI coordinated several grants/projects designed to increase the inclusion of adults with disabilities into the workplace. Employment Services training seminar is designed as an introductory course. This two-day event provides strategies so community employment providers can implement best practices in employment services and increase employment outcomes for persons with disabilities. Topics include: Values and Philosophy Discovery/Assessment Job Development Strategies Worksite & Culture Analysis Job Placement & Training Career Development
