Five Year Plan for NC Disability Services

Project Description:

The NC Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Governor's Council on Persons with Disabilities has contracted with the CIDD to plan, schedule, coordinate, and facilitate more than 20 listening sessions and focus groups across the state. An interactive and accessible format was designed in collaboration with the Council and the GACPD to reach people in urban and rural communities through in-person and video sessions. An online survey will also be implemented. The CIDD will compile input that results from the sessions and draft a five-year plan document; planning efforts for the GACPD and CIDD will incorporate the results into these agencies' long-term plans, as well.
