Center:
Fiscal Year:
2011
Contact Information:
Project Description:
CDCI personnel will collaborate with the VT DOE personnel to guide and direct the implementation of the Vermont Integrated Instruction Model (VIIM). The personnel will work directly with the identified schools in the first phase of the VIIM/SIG 3 project. Specifically, they will work with building-based staff to implement the 3 instructional strategies imbedded in the model. These are: responsiveness to intervention (RtI), Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS), and Differentiated Instruction (DI). Personnel will work with the national content experts in these content areas to become resident experts/external coaches and provide training and technical assistance to the targeted schools. Personnel will act as a liaison between the local school personnel and other partners identified in the VIIM implementation framework. CDCI personnel will provide the VT DOE with performance data at the end of the project based on the SIG evaluation process.
