DABS - Diagnostic Adaptive Behavior Scale
Project Description:
The Diagnostic Adaptive Behavior Scale (DABS) ? eventually to be published by the AAIDD ? will facilitate the diagnosis of intellectual disability. The DABS consists of three Age Forms: 4 ? 8 years old; 9 ? 15 years old; and 16-21 years old> The DABS assesses adaptive behavior across the three domains of conceptual, social, and practical adaptive skills. It is very important to obtain DABS data on individuals from the general population. Its administration requires the involvement of an interviewer and a respondent and takes approximately 45 - 60 minutes.
More efficient and accurate diagnosis of intellectual disability.
