This study utilized parent-reported data from the Ages & Stages Social-Emotional questionnaire to identify distinct socio-emotional behavioral patterns in children with developmental delays compared to those without. Key predictors of developmental delay varied by age, including feeding issues in infancy, joint attention and communication in toddlers, and self-regulation in older children, highlighting the utility of parent-led screening tools for early intervention.
