Multi-informant assessment of social- emotional learning: Examining convergence and divergence among students, parents, and teachers.
Product Description:
This study evaluated social-emotional learning assessments across students, parents, and teachers in Brazil. The findings revealed systematic differences in how each group perceives a youth's competencies. Parents consistently reported the highest scores, followed by teachers, while students reported the lowest. This highlights that social-emotional development is context-dependent, underscoring the critical need for multi-informant assessments to ensure complete and unbiased evaluations.
