Alzheimer's is a neurological disorder (diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system: brain, spinal cord, and cranial and peripheral nerves) and a progressive disease that begins with mild memory loss and possibly leads to loss of the ability to hold a conversation and respond to your environment.
