Impact of Developmental Monitoring using "Learn the Signs. Act Early." on Provider-Parent Communication, Trust, and Relationships in Childcare Settings
        
     
    
        
    
    
        Product Description:
        This poster presents how childcare providers can use the CDCs research-based Learn the Signs. Act Early. (LTSAE) developmental monitoring resources to communicate with parents and give them an active role in their childs development. Findings from director interviews reveal the impact that guided implementation of LTSAE had on their providers capacity and comfort to discuss developmental milestones and concerns with parents. Qualitative data on LTSAEs contribution to building trusting relationships between parents and providers will also be discussed.
