Allan Bergman
High Impact Consulting
Allan Bergman is the CEO of High Impact Mission-based Consulting & Training. A nationally recognized policy analyst, change agent, and thought leader in cross-disability policy and best practices including employment first, Allan has over 50 years of experience at local, state, and federal levels as a service provider, legislative advocate, and systems' change facilitator. He has served as an SME for ODEP since 2011. Allan’s personal commitment is reflected in his high expectations and support for his daughter and stepdaughter, who have both achieved significant milestones through supported or customized employment.
Johnny Collett
University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute (HDI)
Johnny Collett is deputy director at the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute (HDI). Before joining HDI, Collett served as Assistant United States Education Secretary for the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. Prior to that, Collett served as program director for special education outcomes at the Council of Chief State School Officers. He has also served in senior leadership roles at the Kentucky Department of Education, and as a high school special education teacher.
Megan Henly
University of New Hampshire's Institute on Disability
Megan Henly, PhD, is Research Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire's Institute on Disability. Her research examines the social determinants of employment and health for people with disabilities. Dr. Henly's research is funded through the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and National Science Foundation (NSF).
Rylin Rogers
Microsoft
Rylin Rodgers serves on Microsoft’s Accessibility Team as a Disability Policy Director. She strives to impact disability policy in the areas of technology, workforce and fundamental right. Rylin’s work is influenced by her lived experiences with disability. She is dyslexic and has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and the mother of two young adults with physical disabilities and medical complexity. Her family is ALL IN for disability policy!
Laura Slotkoff
Temple University Institute on Disabilities
Laura Slotkoff is an Occupational Therapist, RESNA-certified assistive technology professional, and member of the Assistive Technology (AT) Team at Temple University's Institute on Disabilities UCEDD. In her role with the Temple UCEDD, Laura provides training and demonstrations to people with disabilities, families, and service providers through the Pennsylvania Tech Accelerator; working to expand awareness and access to assistive, supportive, and enabling technology. Her work to provide innovative solutions that increase independence and quality of life has led to a partnership with the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, performing vocation-focused AT evaluations. These AT evaluations are wide ranging-from discovery of career goals to job analysis, functional assessment, AT recommendations and device trials. Prior to joining the Temple UCEDD, Laura worked on an interdisciplinary AT team, providing school-based AT/AAC evaluations and consultations for students with disabilities.
