Maternal and Child Health Engagement


Andrew R. Bordeaux, MS, CCC-SLP, (he/him) is a Program Manager for MCH Engagement at AUCD. In this role, he provides technical assistance to interdisciplinary training and research programs and centers within the AUCD network, including Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND), Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP), and University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). 

Andrew holds an M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Medicine and a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has completed specialized training in public health with through the MCH PASS pipeline training initiative at UWM, and two years of training through LEND: one year through the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities at UNC-CH while in graduate school, and a second year through the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison while completing his clinical fellowship year.

Andrew is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist with experience across medical, administrative, entrepreneurial, and educational roles. His professional mission is driven by a blend of lived experiences, commitment to inclusive practices, person-centered care, and collaboration. He is excited to contribute to the leadership development of others and support initiatives that advance practices and policies for empowering people with developmental and other disabilities.
