Special Interest Groups (SIGs) in Plain Language

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are teams of people who are all passionate about the same topic. For example, some groups focus on how to support families, while others focus on technology that helps people move or speak.

These groups are open to everyone in the AUCD network.

SIGs are a great place to:

Share Information: Tell others about what you are working on.

Talk and Listen: Have respectful conversations with people who have different ideas.

Create New Ideas: Work together to find new ways to help the community.

How Do You Join?

It’s very easy to sign up:

  1. Scroll up to the SIG topic that interests you and click on it.
  2. Press on the link to join the listserv, put in your information, and sign up!
