Biography

Dr. Daniel (Danny) Armstrong is a pediatric psychologist and Director of the Mailman Center for Child Development at the University of Miami. His research focuses on neurodevelopmental outcomes in children with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Dr. Armstrong has led innovative training programs, including a national initiative integrating individuals with lived disability experience into research, and has held numerous leadership roles in national and state-level research and policy initiatives. His career reflects a commitment to advancing inclusive, impactful research, education, and community partnerships to improve outcomes for children with disabilities and their families.
