Easter Seals Project Action Program Evaluation

Center:
Fiscal Year:
2006
Contact Information:
Project Description:
Transportation is a critical issue for full participation in community life by persons with disabilities and requires intervention at multiple levels. Easter Seals, through its Project ACTION, is demonstrating national leadership in supporting intervention projects to improve transportation accessibility. The effectiveness of these interventions needs to be evaluated to determine whether program activities are successful in achieving their intended outcomes. Program evaluation approaches involving theory-based methods, expertise in the program domain, and ongoing feedback from community stakeholders lead to accurate findings and result in programs having maximum positive impact on the community. This project responds to ESPA's expressed need to analyze, refine, and improve upon its existing systems for evaluating its products and services.
