Unified Approach to Healthy Lifestyles for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Project Description:
The overall goal of the "Unified Approach to Healthy Lifestyles for
Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities" project is to develop educational materials (training modules) for direct care staff working with younger adults with developmental disabilities within Easter Seals center-based settings. Using a "Train-the-Trainer" model, materials are being designed to present to key staff from various Easter Seals affiliates who can use the materials at their sites to implement locally.
There are collaborator sites at Crossroads in Indianapolis. The other
Easter Seals site is in California.
