Project Description:
The Department of Health and Human Services is developing a national health promotion intervention for youth with a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities. The intervention, "I Can Do It, You Can Do It," is a six week program in which mentors from agencies that have agreed to participate meet regularly with one or more youth with disabilities. The expected outcomes of the mentoring are increased physical activity and higher social-emotional health. This project will conduct the pilot evaluation of the intervention.
