Project Description:
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is responsible to the state of Alaska Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities for the Traumatic Brain Injury Planning Project research, analysis, evaluation, and administrative services. CHD provides planning and report production related to the Needs and Resources Assessment, Action Plan, Project Evaluation Reports and Final Report. The goals of the TBI Planning Project are to identify existing services and supports for people with traumatic brain injuries, to identify major gaps or barriers in services, and to prioritize policy and programmatic issues to improve and sustain State-supported services for TBI consumers and their families.
