Reducing Barriers to Employment for People with Significant Disabilities
Project Description:
Guided by family members and self-advocates with disabilites, research best practices in employment of people with significant disabilities. This includes a statewide and nationally announced nomination process for best practices related to people with significant disabilities. A 20 page best practice guide illustrated with case studies from nominations will be distributed in New Mexico and available over the web. People with disabilities, families, service providers and others can use this guide to identify best practices and resources. The web version will include live links to resources.
