2.2 - Community Trainings to Increase DD Knowledge and Skills
Project Description:
Provide community training opportunities for people with DD, families, service providers, and professionals to increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of DD, service provision, inclusion, and other medical, legal, social and policy issues related to disabilities.
Example activities/programs:
a. Offer multiple community trainings in person and on-line on topics related to UCEDD expertise in research and practices
b. Scale PATH -Promoting Accessibility to Health Care- training to more medical professionals
c. Provide Autism ECHO Programs on emergent topics
