Project Description:

The Debbie School Little Explorers Summer Program, funded annually by The Children's Trust, provides high-quality early childhood services for children birth to five years of age with disabilities, in an inclusive learning environment. Children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds in Miami-Dade County learn together in classrooms designed to provide natural opportunities for participation, development, and social interaction. Programming is implemented by an interdisciplinary and culturally diverse team of teachers, therapists, and classroom assistants experienced in supporting young children with disabilities and their families.
