Project Description:
Merge National Training Initiative (NTI) supports individuals with co-occurring mental health, intellectual, and developmental disabilities (MHIDD) by strengthening systems, workforce capacity, and access to person-centered, culturally responsive services. Through partnerships, training, technical assistance, resource development, communities of practice, conferences, and a national resource hub, Merge works to improve service coordination, provider knowledge, cross-system collaboration, and quality of life for people with MHIDD. The initiative is guided by universal design principles and lived experience and is supported by partners including TASH, the Center for Dignity in Healthcare, and the National Disability Rights Network.
