National Service Inclusion Project
Project Description:
The purpose of the Alaska National Service Inclusion Project is to conduct a statewide needs assessment to provide a foundation upon which to build the capacity of Alaska's national service programs to include persons with disabilities. National Service volunteers and supervisors completed surveys to identify training needs on disability issues. The survey results will assist the Alaska State Community Service Commission in formulating a state inclusion plan to enable Alaskans with disabilities to successfully participate in National Service projects.
