Project Description:
The purpose of the program is to empower states to strengthen rural communities across America by improving healthcare access, quality, and outcomes by transforming the healthcare delivery ecosystem. Drs. Catherine Morton, Alan McKendall, Miriam Leary, Xiaoxia Zhang, Courtney Pilkerton, Joseph Capito, and SueAnn Woods, in collaboration with the WVU CED, provide interactive educational opportunities for pre-professional Exercise Physiology, Occupational/Physical Therapy students as well as provide a physical activity and nutrition/wellness program for individuals with Intellectual Developmental and/or Neurodevelopment Disorders in West Virginia.
