Promoting the Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care project (PIPBHC)
Project Description:
The purpose of the Promoting the Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care project (PIPBHC) is to improve outcomes in the care of patients with mental health and substance use conditions in the primary care settings through the implementation of the Collaborative Care Model in Alaska. The purpose of the evaluation component of this project is to create and implement the structure whereby the NOMs data can be entered into SPARS on a regular basis, conduct data analyses of NOMs data to help assess changes over time, and assist project team members with the collection/reporting of additional data required by SAMHSA.
