Barger - Pyramid Model and Autism Conference and Expo

Project Description:
The Pyramid Model Training contract includes funding for implementing Pyramid Model Training and hosting the annual Autism Conference and Expo for Georgia (ACE). It also supports the Autism Plan for Georgia (APG), which is a collaboration between the GA Department of Public Health (Title V Autism Services) and the CLD aiming to map out the future service needs of the Autism community in Georgia. The project has two main aspects. The first is the ongoing development of an Autism Plan outlining major goals for future services via community conversations with self advocates, researchers, allied health professionals, educators, etc. The second is hosting the GA Autism Conference and Exposition which brings Autism community members together for a two day conference; Day 1 focuses on research and Day 2 focuses on applied topics.
