Project Description:
The Greater Boston ADHD+ Peer Support Network is a neurodiversity affirming peer support organization for adults. An adult with similar neurotypes to ADHD is welcome including autism, dyslexia, and auditory processing disorder. Self diagnosed and/or questioning are also welcome. The need and goals for the organization is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. The organization meets twice a month virtually or in person. Within the meet ups topics like accessing resources and support, time management and organization, and navigating interpersonal relationships are discussed. When the weather is nicer, there will be in person meetings with guest speakers. The regional organization is the Boston area has about 1,450 members and about 10-15 neurodiverse identifying adults attending each meeting. This project is run by a Long-Term Trainee - Anna Holt.
