Improve School Safety Inside the Kansas City Public Schools
Project Description:
The US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance seeks to increase school safety by implementing solutions that will improve school climate. Through a partnership with the Mattie Rhodes Center, UMKC-IHD will provide project evaluation for the project including:
• Provide a detailed evaluation plan outlining the approach and timeline in alignment with the proposed project objectives.
• Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the proposed project's impact. Data might include document reviews, interviews, and surveys.
• Provide progress reports summarizing findings, challenges, and preliminary recommendations as required by the grant.
• Provide a comprehensive final report detailing the evaluation process, findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
• Participate in core management team meetings as needed.
