Project Description:
Families Reimagining Inclusive Lives (FRIL), aims to educate, inform and empower parents of young children with disabilities to embrace inclusive options and give them practical tools to achieve inclusive lives. The goal of FRIL is to increase the number of diverse families of young children in Pennsylvania who choose inclusive community living and learning. To understand the concepts of self-determination engage in a person-centered planning as a way to develop an "everyday life," including people for which English is a second language, particularly Spanish, and those who are not part of the dominant culture.
