Statewide Assistive Technology Lending Library (ATLL)
Project Description:
Pennsylvania's Assistive Technology Lending Library (ATLL) is a statewide program that is consumer-responsive and available to Pennsylvanians of all ages and abilities. Borrowers begin a loan request by using an online device loan system, where they can search the online catalog and select items to borrow. They can also get help from AT program or AT Resource Center (ATRC) staff. TechOWL staff and ATRCs assist borrowers in the selection of appropriate equipment for trial use; help select appropriate alternatives when the first choice is not available; refer to other sources for loan or rental as necessary; refer to service providers for assessment; collect satisfaction and performance measures; and facilitate the shipping and return of devices, including following up with overdue loans.
